Jaime Espericueta Ovalle

Jaime is a Mexican-American tattoo artist based in Columbus, Ohio. His connection to tattooing became deeply personal after losing a close friend. One of the first tattoos he created was a piece in remembrance of that friend, and the experience helped shape the way he looks at tattooing today.

For Jaime, a tattoo is more than an image on skin. It can carry a memory, represent a person, mark a chapter of someone's life, or simply give someone a piece of art that feels completely their own. That is why personalization, comfort, and care are such important parts of the way he works with every client.

Jaime has a particular love for American traditional tattooing and continues to develop his style while taking on work that challenges him creatively. He enjoys working with clients to turn their ideas into tattoos that feel intentional, personal, and built to last.

Whether a piece carries a deep meaning or someone simply loves the design, Jaime wants every person in his chair to feel welcome, heard, and comfortable throughout the process — and to leave with a tattoo they are genuinely proud to wear.
